The Reward was a great 5 star read.
I was excited once again to go more than from Dean and Maya, this is volume iii in the Lesson in Command serial.
Dean and Maya abound and so much more in this book. Maya is likewise trying to get Dean and her blood brother to get along, but in that location seems to be some tension between them. Unfortunately neither one volition tell her what the problem is.

Dean and Maya abound so much more in this book. Maya is also trying to get Dean and her brother to get forth, but in that location seems to be some tension betwixt them. Unfortunately neither ane will tell her what the problem is.

I actually loved reading Dean and Maya's story. Information technology was great watching them grow in their human relationship throughout the serial. Dean was a hot dominant alpha male who was very protective of Maya. Especially when Charlie shows support. There are a few surprises and I loved the ending. I'm hoping that this isn't the finish of their story. I feel like there is then much more ahead for them. I also wouldn't mind reading more than from Selby and Alex. This series has been on and off for me. The Assignment was intriguing and The Discipline was slightly abrasive besides as frustrating. The Reward brought things full circle and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised that I was happy with the fashion Jade A. Waters wrapped things upwardly for Maya and Dean.I've gotta say that I was kind of worried when I read the description. Part of the reason why I've had any issues at all with the relationship between Dean and Maya was considering of their lack of communication. Things did get a little tense in The Reward, but it appears that they learned their lesson virtually protecting each other and themselves from the truth - past and present. This couple has come a long way since their first coming together and initial 'play.' The erotic aspect of their relationship wasn't quite as 'forepart and center' in The Reward, which was okay. It was still there, because that was a big office of their dynamic. They grew equally individuals as well equally a couple, which is what I always hope for in a gimmicky series.

Book three of this series did not wow me. It's good, but it'southward a little bit likewise consistent in a way that is overly predictable, frustrating in the form of Maya, and slow moving. I ended up skimming a lot of the sexual activity because there is a just a lot of repetition to it. While the formula still works, the content and characters started to become overly simple. At that place are definitely some good parts to this, but overall it was just okay.

I just can't express how much I loved this trilogy from start to terminate! This trilogy kept me on my toes, made me laugh, caused a few tears to fall and really made me completely happy. Jade A. Waters did a phenomenal task with writing this trilogy. I'grand then sad that it's over, I hope for a surprise novella down the line.

Maya and Dean have grown and so much in their relationship and in this third novel they have finally made some big steps. I was so proud of them taking the next steps and really talking things through. They definitely have matured and grew from all the hurt they experienced in their pasts.
The reappearance of Charlie was admittedly insane! I was scared of him for Maya. I wish Dean could accept at least got in a expert thirty or so hits on him -- I'm just saying. I loved Selby and Alex of form...they are just too damn cute. Maya's brother was a flake of a douche, but I could understand his reasoning to an extent.
Overall, this was just phenomenal. I highly recommend this to whatever one looking for a practiced, light-hearted BDSM trilogy to get into.

Although this is the third book in the series, it's but the 2nd one I've read, and just as I stated in my review of The Consignment, the starting time volume in this series, it was an okay read, and I sort of liked it, but I definitely didn't beloved it.In this installment, the human relationship between Dean and Maya wraps upwardly, but since I didn't particularly like either character from the very beginning of the Lessons in Command serial, and although at that place was more character evolution in this novel than in the first, and certainly enough heat to call this an erotic romance, I but was left wondering why I'd read this one at all, since it left me utterly unmoved and rather disinterested. The book is well-written, just I've read enough BDSM romances to know that there are characters and series that I much preferred over this one.
